A renowned investigative journalist, Julie Bindel has written extensively on a range of topics including violence against women, religious fundamentalism, the international surrogacy trade, mail order brides, trafficking, and unsolved murders.

She writes regularly for The Guardian, New Statesman, The Sunday Times, Telegraph, and Unherd, and frequently appears on the BBC and Sky News. She was Visiting Journalist at Brunel University, UK (2013 – 2014) and Visiting Fellow at Lincoln University, UK (2014 – 17). Her most recent book is The Pimping Of Prostitution: Abolishing the Sex Work Myth (2017).
