Tamarack Verrall has been active in the Women’s Movement since the late 1960’s. She has lived in and travelled to dierent parts of Canada speaking and holding meetings, her focus being ending violence against women and girls. For the past 6 years she has been a spokeswoman for World Pulse, an international network of 70,000 from 190 countries working to end all forms of violence and suppression of women and girls globally. She has recently been recognized with an award for her work as an Ambassador for this organization.
